Irfana Sadiya (27) and Nusrath (32), housewives from Pragnapur and members of the Asha Kolping Group, struggled with financial hardships. With Kolping India’s support under the Individual Income Generation Program (IIGP), they received Rs. 10,000/- each to start a home-based bakery business. Their husbands assisted in supplying baked goods to local markets. Earning Rs. 20,000/- monthly, they now manage household expenses and children's education with ease. Their journey exemplifies the power of women’s economic empowerment and Kolping India’s impact in fostering self-sufficiency, inspiring others in their community to pursue financial independence through entrepreneurship.
