At the age of 5, he sustained a severe injury to his left leg's ankle bone, necessitating treatment at Gandhi Hospital. Unfortunately, the initial treatment did not yield the desired results. However, at the age of 15, thanks to the support of The Hyderabad Archdiocese Social Service Society, he underwent a successful operation. Before the surgery, Vikram experienced social challenges, including teasing from peers that led to gaps in his school attendance.
